Harbor

The Richmond Yacht Club Harbor is one of the best venues on San Francisco Bay, protected by the Richmond Channel and offering excellent access to Bay sailing. Our location provides a great view of San Francisco, Angel Island, Treasure Island, and Tiburon . We are home to our members’ cruising and racing sailboats, powerboats, and our Race Committee’s support boats. The Harbor docks and piers were rebuilt in 2006 and parking is plentiful.

The private basin provides a well-protected harbor for 250 wet slips with freshwater service and electricity. Depth at Mean Lower Low Water is 9 feet.

Our dry boat yard has spaces for 250 small boats (dinghies to trailered keel boats) in a secure yard supported by a marginal wharf and two cranes with a lift capacity of 2 tons each.
