Following the success and fun of the last three years, the Summer Youth Sailing returns this year with the addition of a few changes. The schedule below shows that we are separating the training for the 29er's from the Laser/420. Dan Brandt - an excellent youth coach and expert 29er sailor - will really help the kids improve their skills. We are focusing training for our young Laser sailors towards BAYS racing series and for the 420's there is the Ida Lewis in July. Also in July we hope to have a some of the Laser gals go to Michigan for the Leiter Cup while the guys have the Laser PCC’s in Monterrey.   The program starts off with an Advanced Clinic when Dan Brandt will be supported by a couple of other great coaches for a concurrent 29er and Laser Advanced Clinic. We expect many out-of-town boats to also attend as this is just before the Youth Championships.

Typical day starts around 9:30 and goes through to 5:00. The sessions run Monday through Friday.  RYC 420's will be available for youths who do not have their own boats. RYC retains the right to decline any person from enrolling in this program.
